京都の南西、天王山と桂川、宇治川、木津川に囲まれたこの地は、豊かな自然に恵まれ、息を呑むような美しい景色が広がっています。

その景観に溶け込むように、山崎蒸留所は静かに佇んでおり、風景と一体化した静謐で豊かな空間を作り出しています。

2023年にリニューアルされた山崎蒸留所では、見学ツアーを通してウイスキーの物語を五感で感じることができる、特別な体験が待っています。

長い歴史と伝統が息づくその空間を、心を込めて撮影させていただきました。

The Yamazaki Distillery is Japan’s oldest malt whisky distillery.

Located in the southwest of Kyoto, this area is surrounded by Mount Tennozan, the Katsura River, the Uji River, and the Kizu River. It is blessed with rich nature and stunning scenery that takes your breath away.

The Yamazaki Distillery stands quietly, blending into the landscape and creating a peaceful space in harmony with its surroundings.

After being renovated in 2023, the distillery now offers a unique experience where you can fully immerse yourself in the story of whisky with all five senses.

I had the honor of capturing this space, full of history and tradition, with great care and attention to detail.
